No. The A72 is a copper terminal intended for copper conductors. Terminating aluminum requires a connector rated AL or AL9CU with the appropriate compound; using a copper-only barrel on aluminum invites galvanic corrosion and a failing joint.
6) Can I crimp the A72 terminal with ordinary pliers or do I need a crimp tool?
Non-insulated copper barrels like the A72 need a crimp tool with a non-insulated nest, which indents the barrel and cold-welds it to the strands. Pliers flatten the barrel without compressing the conductor properly and leave a joint that heats up and pulls out. Use the die that matches the 22 to 16 AWG range.
