At 1 AWG to 1/0, this is a heavy-barrel lug. It takes a power or hydraulic crimper with the matching die, not a hand tool sized for insulated terminals. Match the die to the barrel size, not just the wire gauge, and make the number of crimps the barrel length calls for.
