1) Will the NUVO 65-504 linear hi-bay run on 208V or 240V, or do I need a separate fixture for each voltage?
One fixture covers the range. The 65-504 is a universal-voltage LED hi-bay accepting 100V to 277V, so the same part works on 120V, 208V, 240V and 277V circuits. That is what lets a facility standardize on a single SKU across buildings with different panel voltages.
2) Can I use the NUVO 65-504 LED hi-bay in an unheated warehouse or a wash-down area?
It is an indoor fixture with a damp location rating. That covers unheated warehouses, covered loading docks and similar areas with moisture in the air, but it is not a wet-location fixture, so direct spray in a wash-down bay or any exposed exterior mounting is outside its rating. For those, specify a wet-rated enclosure instead.
3) Is the NUVO 65-504 hi-bay dimmable, and can I set the color temperature in the field?
Dimming is supported, so it can go on a 0-10V control or occupancy/daylight scheme. Color temperature is fixed at 5000K, though. There is no field-selectable CCT switch on this fixture, so if you need 4000K in the same space you have to order a different model rather than reconfigure this one.
4) How many 2 ft NUVO 65-504 hi-bays do I need to replace my 400W metal halide high bays?
Each 65-504 puts out 14,850 lumens at 110W, which is in the same delivered-light range as a 400W metal halide after its lumen depreciation, so one-for-one swaps are the usual starting point at typical warehouse mounting heights. Light output is at 5000K with 80 CRI. Final count should come from a layout against your mounting height and target foot-candles, since the 2 ft linear form throws a wider, more even pattern than a round MH reflector.
5) Can I relamp the NUVO 65-504 when the LEDs fail?
No. The LEDs are integrated, with no lamp base or replaceable lamp, so the fixture is the serviceable unit. Rated life is 50,000 hours average. For MRO planning that means stocking spare fixtures rather than spare lamps.
6) Is the NUVO 65-504 hi-bay UL listed for a commercial inspection?
It carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations for AHJ sign-off. The housing is aluminum and the fixture is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead on this product if you are shipping into CA.
