NUVO Lighting 65-823 2ft, 20W, Vapor Proof Linear Fixture with Integrated Microwave Sensor, CCT Selectable, IP65 and IK08 Rated

Yes. The 65-823 is a wet location rated, outdoor rated vapor proof linear fixture, sealed to IP65 against water jets and IK08 rated against impact. That combination is what you want in wash bays, parking structures, loading docks and similar areas where the fixture takes both moisture and the occasional knock from equipment.

The 65-823 has the occupancy sensor built into the fixture body, so there is no separate wall switch or ceiling sensor to wire. Microwave sensing reads motion through the sealed lens, which is why it suits a vapor tight housing where a PIR eye would have to see through a gasketed cover. For stairwells and garages it means each fixture controls itself, so you can run the circuit hot and let the fixtures manage their own dwell.

It will. The driver accepts 100V through 277V, so the same fixture works on 120V residential or light commercial circuits and on 277V building power without ordering a different part number. That is useful when you are standardizing one SKU across a property that has both.

No color temperature choice at order time. The 65-823 is CCT selectable at the fixture, so the installer sets the color on site. That is what lets you carry one part number and still match the 4000K corridors and the 5000K service areas in the same building. Light output runs 2164 to 2505 lumens depending on the CCT you select, at 20 watts and 80 CRI.

Both. The 65-823 mounts surface to the deck with brackets, or suspends on cables or chain for open ceilings and high bays over a work area. At 3.31 lbs it is light enough that suspension hardware is not a structural problem, though the mounting accessories themselves are ordered separately from the fixture.

The fixture measures 23.62 inches long, 4.92 inches wide, and 3.46 inches high. Worth noting the 3.46 inch depth if you are tucking these under a low garage deck or between joists, since a vapor tight housing sits proud of the surface rather than recessing.

No lamps to stock. The LED array is integrated into the fixture, so there is no bulb base and nothing to relamp. Rated life is 50,000 hours, which is the figure to use when you are budgeting fixture replacement cycles across a facility rather than a lamp maintenance line.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and the fixture is RoHS compliant. For institutional and government specs that call for a nationally recognized testing lab mark, cETLus satisfies that. One note for California work: the fixture carries a Prop 65 warning for lead.

The 65-823 is a dimmable fixture, so it can be trimmed down rather than run full output. Pair that with the onboard microwave occupancy sensor and you have local control at each fixture without a separate control layer. Confirm your dimming control type against the driver before you commit a large run.

The body is plastic rather than metal, which is the usual choice for vapor tight work because it does not corrode in damp or chemically aggressive spaces the way a painted steel housing does. It is also why the fixture comes in at 3.31 lbs. Impact resistance is handled by the IK08 rating rather than by housing thickness.

Gray is the finish, and it is the only one offered on this model. That is the standard utility-gray body most vapor tight housings ship in, so it matches alongside existing vapor proof runs on a service corridor or garage deck.
