It is built for that. The 2-foot tri-proof fixture is rated IP65 and carries a Wet location rating with outdoor use, so direct water spray and weather exposure are within its design. IK08 impact rating also means it tolerates knocks in a parking garage, loading dock or wash-down area. Safety listing is cETLus.

No separate sensor or control wiring is needed. The microwave occupancy sensor is built into the 65-832R1 housing, so the fixture responds to motion on its own. That is the usual choice for stairwells, garages, storage rooms and corridors where you want the light to drop back when the space is empty. The fixture is also dimmable if you are tying it into a control system.

Color temperature is field selectable on the fixture, so one unit can be set to match the rest of the building rather than ordering a fixed CCT. Output runs 2065 to 2249 lumens depending on the setting, at 20 watts, with 80 CRI. For a 2-foot wet-location fixture that is general-purpose task and circulation lighting, not high-bay level output.

Wall and ceiling surface mounting are both supported. At 23.62 inches long, 3.98 inches wide, 3.11 inches high and 2.87 pounds, it is light enough for standard surface mounting on either plane, which matters in low-clearance garages and equipment rooms where a suspended fixture would get hit.

No lamps to buy. The LED array is integrated into the fixture, so there is no socket, no tube and nothing to relamp. Rated life is 50,000 hours; at end of life the fixture is replaced rather than re-lamped, which is the tradeoff against an older T8 vapor-tight strip.

The body is plastic rather than metal, which is why tri-proof fixtures are commonly specified in wash-down, agricultural and chemical-adjacent spaces where a steel or aluminum housing would corrode. It is RoHS compliant. Note a California Prop 65 disclosure for lead.

One finish only: white and gray. There is no alternate color option on this 2-foot sensor model, so all units will match across a facility without specifying anything further.
