1) Can I use Oatey 30757 purple primer on ABS pipe?
No. The 30757 purple primer is for PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings only, and Oatey specifically does not recommend it for ABS installations. ABS joints are made with a straight ABS cement and no primer.
