If you are roughing in and need to cap the line for a DWV test before the toilet goes on, you need a flange supplied with a knock-out test cap, or a separate test plug. Plastic. The 43531 uses a plastic ring rather than a stainless or steel one, so there is nothing on the flange to corrode from mop water or a weeping wax seal.
