No. The base is ABS, so it takes ABS solvent cement and 6 inch ABS pipe. Joining ABS to PVC needs a transition fitting or an approved ABS-to-PVC cement, and many jurisdictions do not allow a solvent-welded dissimilar joint at a roof drain. If your stack is PVC, order a PVC-base drain.
2) Is the Oatey 82016 a roof drain or a shower drain?
It is a flange-and-strainer drain assembly built for a 6 inch ABS line, the configuration used for roof, deck and balcony drainage rather than a tub or shower waste. A shower drain would be 2 inch with a clamping ring and weep holes.
