The FTTM Series cabinet flat track kit carries sliding cabinet doors or panels up to 60 lbs. That is a per-door limit on the two hangers supplied, so size your panel material accordingly before ordering.
2) What comes in the Orca FTTM-MINI-BL-5 single door track kit?
The single door kit ships with the 5 ft track, two hangers, spacers, end stops, anti-jump blocks, door guides, all fasteners, and instructions. Nothing else is needed to hang one cabinet panel other than the door itself.
3) I'm running two cabinet doors on one track. Do I need a second full kit?
No. The double door kit for the FTTM Series is a hardware-only package: two hangers, end stops, anti-jump blocks, door guides, and fasteners, with no second length of track. You add it to the track you already have rather than buying a whole second kit.
4) Does the Orca cabinet flat track mount to the wall or to the underside of the cabinet top?
It is a sidewall-mount track. The track fastens to a vertical face above the opening, and the panels hang from top mount hangers that ride on it.
5) Is the FTTM cabinet track handed? I have a left-hand sliding panel.
No handing to specify. The FTTM Series kit is non-handed, so the same kit works whether the panel parks left or right, and the same parts serve a bi-parting pair.
6) Is this cabinet barn track suitable for commercial casework, or is it a residential product?
Orca rates the FTTM Series cabinet flat track for commercial use, and the track itself is steel. It is used on cabinet and casework panels rather than full passage doors.
7) Will a 5 foot track work for the cabinet opening I need to cover?
The kit supplies 5 ft of flat track. For a single sliding panel the track has to span both the opening and the parked position of the panel, so a 5 ft track suits a panel of roughly half that width. For a bi-parting pair, each panel covers half the opening and parks beside it, so a 5 ft track handles an opening close to that same 5 ft overall.
8) Why does the Orca kit include anti-jump blocks and door guides?
On a top-hung cabinet slider the panel hangs free at the bottom. The anti-jump blocks keep the hanger wheels from lifting off the flat track if the panel is bumped, and the door guide at the floor or cabinet base keeps the bottom edge from swinging in and out. End stops limit travel at each end of the 5 ft track. All three are supplied in the kit.
