1) Can I glue polypropylene acid waste pipe with PVC solvent cement?
No. The Watts Blueline pipe is polypropylene, and PP will not solvent weld. Polypropylene acid waste systems are joined mechanically or by fusion using the matching PP fittings, so plan your fittings and joining method for PP, not PVC or CPVC.
2) Will Watts BL-2SCH40-PIPE10FT tie into an existing 2 inch cast iron or PVC drain line?
It is 2 inch nominal, so it lines up dimensionally with other 2 inch drainage piping, but the transition has to be made with a mechanical coupling rated for joining dissimilar materials. You cannot fuse or solvent weld polypropylene to cast iron or PVC. On lab work the usual arrangement is PP acid waste from the fixtures to a neutralization point, then transition to the building drain downstream.
