That's exactly the prep it's cut for. The Pro-Lok wrap plate has a 2-1/8 inch bore hole on a 2-3/8 inch backset, which is the standard residential key-in-knob and deadbolt prep. If your door was drilled with a 2-3/4 inch backset, the bore won't line up and this plate won't work.

It's made for 1-3/4 inch thick doors only. The wrap folds over the door edge and grips both faces, so the throat is sized to that single thickness. On a 1-3/8 inch interior door it will sit loose and won't clamp properly.

The Pro-Lok stainless wrap around plate covers the damaged area on both faces of the door and the edge, reinforcing a split or torn-out lock bore so you can rehang the existing hardware instead of replacing the door. It measures 4 by 4-1/2 inches, so it covers the immediate area around the bore, not a full-length edge repair.

One plate covers one bore. If the door has both a knob lock and a separate deadbolt, you need a plate at each hole, or a taller plate that spans both. This 4 by 4-1/2 inch Pro-Lok plate is sized around a single 2-1/8 inch bore. Reinforcing the door alone also leaves the frame side unprotected, so pair it with a strike reinforcement if the jamb is what's splitting.
