That is exactly what the C10-DISC is for. It is a 6-pin replacement cylinder built to keep discontinued Sargent bored lock lines in service, and the C10-1 variation works with every function in the 7500 lever line. Before you pull the old cylinder, confirm the lock you are servicing is one of those bored lines so the cylinder seats and the tailpiece drives correctly.
2) Which Sargent keyway do I order so the cylinder works on my existing master key system?
The C10-DISC is offered in LA, LB, LC, LE, LF, LG, LJ, LK and LL keyways. LA is the standard Sargent keyway; the others are the sectional keyways used to build or extend a masterkey system. Pull a key from an existing door and match the keyway stamp, since a cylinder in the wrong section will not accept your building key. Master key orders are supported when the keying detail is given on a SARGENT Keyed Order Lead Sheet.
3) Does the Sargent C10-DISC come keyed, and how many keys are included?
As supplied it comes 1-bitted with two nickel silver keys, which means it ships on a single throwaway cut and is meant to be keyed to your system. On the order you choose Standard Keying, KD for keyed different, or KA for keyed alike, so a run of apartment or office doors can all be set to one key or each to its own.

All three keyways-wide, so any of the nine keyways can be had in any of those finishes. Match the number stamped on your existing Sargent trim rather than eyeballing it, since 04 and 15 read very differently side by side on a door.
6) Is the Sargent C10-DISC a small format interchangeable core or a conventional cylinder?
Conventional. It belongs to Sargent's Conventional Key System, so it is pinned and serviced in the usual way rather than pulled with a control key like an SFIC core. If your facility is standardized on interchangeable cores, this is not the part to keep the system uniform.
7) Do I get a whole lock with the Sargent C10-DISC, or just the cylinder?
