1) What keyways can I get on a Sargent C6 bored lock cylinder?
The C6 cylinder is offered in nine Sargent conventional keyways: LA (the standard), LB, LC, LE, LF, LG, LJ, LK and LL. If you are adding doors to an existing Sargent system, order the same keyway letter that is already stamped on your keys so the new cylinder runs on the building's keys.
2) Do Sargent C6 cylinders come keyed, and what do I get with one?
They ship 1-bitted unless you specify otherwise, and each cylinder comes with 2 nickel silver keys. If you want them operating on their own keys, order the KD (keyed different) option; KA (keyed alike) sets them all to one key. For master keying, the keying detail goes on a Sargent Keyed Order Lead Sheet.
3) What is the difference between the B Knob and S & N Knob versions of the Sargent C6 cylinder?
Those are the two cylinder designs, matched to the knob style on the bored lock you are servicing. B Knob cylinders go into B-design knobs; the S & N version fits S and N design knobs. Pull the existing knob and match the design letter on your lockset before ordering, because the two are not interchangeable.

7) Will a Sargent C6 cylinder work with a high security or interchangeable core system?
No. The C6 is a conventional key system cylinder, 6-pin, using Sargent LA through LL keyways. It will not operate on a large format interchangeable core or a patented high security key system, and it will not accept an IC core. If your building is on an IC or high security platform, you need a cylinder built for that platform instead.
