SATCO Lighting S11815 23W Commercial LED Downlight, 6in, Color Adjustable, Lumen Adjustable, 120-277V

The S11815 runs on 120V through 277V at 60Hz with the driver integrated, so the same fixture works on a 120V residential-style branch circuit or a 277V commercial lighting circuit. Nothing extra to order for the higher voltage, and one part number covers both, which is what you want when you're stocking a building with mixed circuits.

Color is picked at the fixture, not at the order form. The S11815 is CCT selectable across 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, so one part number covers warm residential-feeling 2700K corridors through 5000K back-of-house and parking areas. You order the same SKU everywhere and set each unit as you install it. Output is field selectable at 900, 1200 or 1750 lumens, tied to a wattage switch of 11W, 16W or 23W. 23W and 1750 lumens is the top setting. That lets you drop the same fixture into a low-ceiling office at 900 lumens and run it at full output in a lobby or stairwell without carrying two part numbers.

Damp location rated and indoor only. That covers a bathroom ceiling, a kitchen, a covered corridor or a laundry room where humidity is present. It does not cover a wet location, so keep it out of direct spray in a shower enclosure and off exposed exterior soffits where rain reaches the fixture. For those, specify a wet-rated downlight instead.

There is no lamp to change. The LED is integrated into the fixture with an integrated base, rated at 50,000 average hours, so maintenance is fixture replacement rather than relamping. For an MRO crew that means no bulb SKU to stock for these ceilings, which is usually the point of moving off screw-base retrofits.

One part number, S11815, in a silver finish, round, ceiling mounted, covers the whole job. Because both color and output are selected at each fixture, a property manager can run 3000K at 900 lumens in units and 4000K at 1750 lumens in corridors and stairs with an identical fixture on the shelf. The trim reads the same in every ceiling, only the settings differ.

Aluminum base material. On a downlight that matters for heat: aluminum carries LED heat away from the board, which is what supports the 50,000 hour rated life in an enclosed ceiling cavity.
