Schlage Commercial LAB Full Size Cylinder Top, Nickel Silver Pins (Pack of 100)

Top pins only, the drivers that sit in the upper chamber above the plug. A pack of 100 covers the driver side of a Schlage full size cylinder, so a shop pinning cylinders from scratch or building a master system still needs bottom key pins and master wafers as separate items. If you are only replacing worn or lost drivers on the bench, this is the pack you want.

Three sizes are sold: #1, #2 and #3. Each pack of 100 is a single size, not an assortment, so a bench that wants all three on the shelf orders three packs. Buy by the size you actually burn through rather than trying to get a spread in one box.

No. These are drivers for full size Schlage cylinders. Small format interchangeable cores are pinned on their own segment system and take an SFIC-specific pin set, so mixing these in will not stack correctly. For SFIC work, order pins made for that core.

The pins are nickel silver, the standard material for pin stacks in commercial cylinders, and the pack is specified for commercial use rather than residential. Nickel silver is what a bench uses for repeat rekeys because it wears predictably against the plug and spring rather than deforming, which matters on a building where the same cylinders come back through the shop on every tenant turn.

This is bench stock for whoever pins your cylinders. The pack is 100 loose top pins in one size, sold as a replacement part for full size Schlage cylinders, with no cylinder, plug, springs or key pins in the box. If you are replacing a whole cylinder on a door, you want a cylinder, not a pin pack. If you have an in-house locksmith or a shop that rekeys your cylinders, this is what they consume.
