Single gang and narrow stiles are available with numerous options which include heavy-duty plate, weather resistant cover (single gang size only), 2 LED lights – green/red, anti-tamper switch and Schlage Everest cylinder. in addition to the standard (630) satin stainless steel finish, there are three additional architectural finishes to choose from.

For anything drawing more than 5 amps, or any line voltage circuit, switch a relay with it instead of running the load through the keyswitch directly.
3) Does the Schlage 653 keyswitch come with a cylinder and keys, or do I supply my own?

You can order it with a 1-1/4 inch Schlage Everest mortise cylinder that includes two keys and a 1/8 inch spacer ring, or specify that same cylinder keyed alike so multiple switches across a site run on one key. 4) Is the Schlage 653 keyswitch OK for an exterior door?
There is a weather resistant cover option for outdoor and wash-down locations, but it has limits: it fits a 1-1/8 inch cylinder only and is not offered with the narrow stile plate, the two-LED version, or special finishes. So an exterior install using the cover means the single gang plate and a 1-1/8 inch cylinder, not the 1-1/4 inch Everest cylinder bundle.
5) I ordered momentary but the job actually needs the door to stay unlocked. Do I have to send it back?

The 650 series is offered in a narrow stile version with a 1-3/4 inch by 4-1/2 inch stainless steel plate, which is the configuration for aluminum storefront stiles; the standard single gang version needs a gang box.
