SCHLAGE M490G SERIES OVERVIEW

The M490G is an ANSI/BHMA outdoor certified electromagnetic lock with 1500 lbs. of holding force. It is designed for exterior sliding and swinging gates. Heavy-duty plating assures a low maintenance device that accommodates misalignment problems while supplying superior hold force. A modified top jamb mounting bracket allows the M490G mag lock to mount to any gate frame or post in various positions. The M490G can be field configured for either 12 or 24 VDC operation. The magnetic bond sensor (MBS) and gate status monitor (DPS) are both standard.

All Schlage electromagnetic locks come with a limited lifetime warranty on the magnetic coil assembly for added confidence in the longevity of these robust products.
