2) Will an SDC 1511 EMLock work on a pair of double doors, or do I need a different model?
Use the 1512 for a pair. The 1510 Series comes as the 1511 single EMLock and the 1512 double EMLock, and the 1512 is the two-magnet unit built to hold both leaves of a double opening from one housing. A single 1511 holds one leaf. Both models suit swing doors, single or double, and both mount to the surface of the frame with an armature on the door, so no mortising is involved.
3) Do I have to order the SDC 1510 maglock for 12 volts or 24 volts?
Neither. The 1510 Series is 12/24VDC with auto-sensing dual voltage, so one part number works on either bus and there is nothing to jumper or set in the field. Drop it on whatever your access control panel already puts out. It is a DC-powered device only, not battery operated, so it needs a supervised power supply on the door.
4) What options do I need to specify when ordering an SDC 1510 Series EMLock?
Five monitoring and timing options, each ordered yes or no: door position switch (DPS), bond alert status (BAS), anti-tamper switch (ATS), relock time delay (RTD), and a visual status indicator LED. No cutting into the frame. The 1510 Series is surface mounted, and the EMLock modular design uses an interlocking quick mount assembly with an EZ mount system that holds the magnet in place while you make up your wiring and drive the mounting screws, so one person can hang it.
