Securitron SFP Stop Filler Plate Accessories

The SFP is a solid anodized bar that fills or extends a door stop so the Magnalock has a flat, continuous surface to mount against. On frames where the stop is too shallow or stepped, the lock body won't sit flush and you get an uneven magnetic face. The filler plate builds that surface out to the thickness you need before the lock goes on. It's a mounting accessory, not part of the lock or the electrical circuit.

The SFP works with the M32, M62, M82, M38, M68, M380E and M680E Magnalock models. If your lock is one of those, the plate is the matched stop filler for it.

Four thicknesses: 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch. Pick by measuring the gap between the existing stop face and the plane you need the Magnalock to mount on, then order the thickness that closes it. All four are the same 1-1/4 inch width, so the choice is purely about how far you need to build the stop out.

Every SFP is 1-1/4 inches wide regardless of thickness. That is a fixed dimension, so if your stop face is wider than 1-1/4 inches the plate will not cover it edge to edge. Measure the stop before ordering.

Two lengths, 8 inch and 12 inch, and both are offered in all four thicknesses. Match the length to the footprint of the Magnalock body you are mounting so the plate carries the full lock, not just part of it.

Two finishes: black anodized and clear anodized. Black is the usual pick for dark bronze or painted-dark frames and for keeping the buildout visually quiet under the lock; clear anodized reads as natural aluminum and blends with clear-anodized storefront and aluminum frames. Both finishes are offered in every thickness and both lengths.

Three things: thickness (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 or 5/8 inch), length (8 or 12 inch), and finish (black or clear anodized). The part numbers read the same way, so SFP-1/2BK-12 is the 1/2 inch thick, black anodized, 12 inch plate. Width is always 1-1/4 inches and is not an option.

It's a commercial door hardware accessory, sold as an installation accessory for Securitron's electromagnetic locks rather than a residential item. Typical use is storefront, institutional and multi-family openings where a Magnalock is being fitted to a frame whose stop won't take the lock flat as-is.

No wiring. The SFP is a machined filler bar that sits between the frame stop and the Magnalock; it carries no power and makes no connection. It is catalogued alongside Securitron's electromagnetic lock accessories because it is fitted as part of a maglock install, but the plate itself is purely mechanical.

Order the single thickness that matches your gap. The SFP is made in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8 inch so the four sizes cover most stop conditions on their own, and one solid plate gives the Magnalock a rigid, flat bearing surface. Measure the shortfall at the lock location and take the closest single thickness at or above it.
