No. The 208 Series is built for wood or metal material 1 inch to 1-1/8 inch thick, and 1 inch is the minimum material thickness it will take. A standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door is well outside that band, so you want a SOSS invisible hinge whose stated material thickness range covers 1-3/4 inches instead. Where the 208 belongs is thin doors, cabinet doors, and millwork panels sitting in that 1 to 1-1/8 inch range.
2) Do SOSS 208 invisible hinges come with screws, and what do I need for a metal application?
