It is a 4-wire cord, with two hots, a neutral and a ground, terminating in a NEMA 14-50P. Current practice for new range circuits is the 4-wire setup, which is why the 14-50 receptacle is what gets installed today. If the apartment or house still has a 3-prong 10-50 receptacle on a 3-wire branch circuit, this cord is the wrong one for that opening and the range's bonding strap stays in place with a 3-wire cord instead.
