Sure-Loc VR-SET-PH2PV 26 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What finishes does the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder come in?
Four finishes: 15 Satin Nickel, 26 Polished Chrome, FBL Flat Black, and SB Satin Brass. Those are the full range for the Vlora two-post pivot paper holder, so if you're matching levers or other Ridgecrest bath pieces already on the job, pick the code that matches what is installed.
2) Is the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder rated for commercial restrooms?
No. The Vlora two-post pivot paper holder is a residential-grade bath accessory, built for bathrooms, powder rooms and multi-family units rather than heavy commercial-duty restroom traffic. For a public or high-traffic facility restroom, specify commercial washroom hardware instead.
3) What is the closest two-post equivalent to the Sure-Loc Vlora two-post pivot paper holder set?
The Deltana 98C2001 is the closest double-post match. It is a 98C Series classic double post toilet paper holder in solid brass, so like the Vlora set it carries the roll between two posts rather than on a single arm. The Vlora set uses a two-post pivot mechanism that swings the roll outward for tool-free paper changes, and it is offered in Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black, and Satin Brass.
4) I only have room for a single-post paper holder next to the toilet. What should I use instead of the Vlora two-post set?
Two single-post options fit a tighter wall pocket: the Deltana 55D2001, a single post holder in the 55D Series in solid brass, and the Deltana BBN2001 single post holder in the BBN Series. A single-post holder loads the roll from one open end, where the Vlora set carries the roll between two posts on a pivot.
5) For apartment turns where rollers get broken, is there a paper holder with a replaceable tube instead of the Vlora pivot set?
Yes. The Orca Hardware 2752 in the 27-Cypress Series and the Orca Hardware 4852 Blakely in the 48-Blakely Series are both supplied with a plastic tube roller, so the wear item is the tube rather than the mount. The Sure-Loc Vlora set instead uses a two-post pivot that swings the roll out for changes, and is offered in four finishes including Satin Nickel and Polished Chrome.
6) How does a two-post pivot paper holder differ from a bar-style holder?
The two-post pivot design on the Vlora set swings the roll outward on its posts so a roll change is tool-free and quick. A bar-style holder, like the Emtek Modern Brass Paper Holder - Bar Style, instead carries the roll on a bar spanning two mounts. Pivot types suit tight spots where you want the roll to swing clear; bar types read flatter against the wall.
7) Will this match the rest of my bath hardware?
The Vlora paper holder is part of Sure-Loc's Ridgecrest collection, so it is styled to pair with other Ridgecrest bath accessories for a matched suite. If your towel bars and rings are from a different collection or brand, match on finish instead, and note the Vlora set covers Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black and Satin Brass.
8) What are some solid brass alternatives to the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder?
If you want solid brass, Deltana's line covers several styles: the 88DTPH from the 88 Series, the 98C2001 Classic double post from the 98C Series, and the single post 55D2001 in the 55D Series. Deltana also offers the single post BBN2001 in the BBN Series. Double post models are the closest in concept to the Vlora two-post arrangement.
9) I manage apartments and want one paper holder spec across all units. Is this a good fit?
It works for that. The Vlora two-post pivot set is called out for multi-family residential properties and bath remodels, comes in one consistent Ridgecrest style, and is offered in four finishes so you can standardize on a single code across a portfolio. For budget-focused unit turns, Orca Hardware also offers holders such as the 2752 Cypress and 4852 Blakely, both with plastic tube rollers.
10) Which paper holder should I look at if I want an open Euro style rather than the Vlora two-post set?
The Orca Hardware 3655 Swirl in the 36-Swirl Series and the Orca Hardware 5255 Ripple in the 52-Ripple Series are both Euro-style toilet paper holders, an open form that does not enclose the roll between two posts. The Sure-Loc Vlora set is a complete two-post pivot holder set within the Ridgecrest collection.
11) What is the difference between the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder set and the Emtek bar-style paper holders?
The Emtek bath hardware paper holders are bar style, meaning the roll rides on a bar spanning the mount rather than on a pivoting two-post cradle. Emtek offers that bar style across four design families: Modern Brass, Traditional Brass, Transitional Brass, and Sandcast Bronze. The Sure-Loc Vlora set is a two-post pivot design in the Ridgecrest collection, intended to match other Ridgecrest bath pieces.
12) Is the Deltana 88DTPH a substitute for the Sure-Loc Vlora two-post pivot set?
Not a like-for-like one. The Deltana 88DTPH is an 88 Series solid brass toilet paper holder and will serve the same wall location, but it is not described as a two-post pivot design, so the paper-change action differs from the Vlora set, where the roll swings outward on two posts. If the goal is matching other Ridgecrest bath pieces, the Vlora set is the one built for that grouping.
13) I need a paper holder in flat black for a residential bath remodel. Does the Vlora set cover that, or do I need another brand?
The Sure-Loc Vlora two-post pivot paper holder set is offered in FBL Flat Black, along with Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, and Satin Brass, and it is a residential bath accessory installed mechanically with no wiring or power supply. Among the alternatives, the Emtek Sandcast Bronze paper holder is the bar-style option in a dark bronze hardware family if you prefer a bar mount over a pivot.
14) Does this Sure-Loc paper holder need any wiring or batteries?
None. The Vlora paper holder set is fully mechanical, no wiring, batteries or power supply involved. It mounts to the wall and that's the whole install, which is why it's common on remodels where no electrical work is planned at the toilet wall.
15) Is anything else needed to complete the install, or is it a complete set?
It ships as a complete paper holder set, so the posts and pivot hardware come together in one package. Being a mechanical wall-mounted accessory, the only site-side consideration is solid backing or appropriate wall anchors at the mounting points.
