Sure-Loc VR-SET-PH1 26 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What finishes does the Sure-Loc Vlora single post paper holder come in?
Four finishes: 15 Satin Nickel, 26 Polished Chrome, FBL Flat Black, and SB Satin Brass. Those finish codes are the standard ones used across Sure-Loc door hardware, so if you already have Vlora or other Sure-Loc levers in 15 or 26 on the job, the bath hardware will read as the same family.
2) Is the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder rated for commercial restrooms or just homes?
It's a residential-grade accessory. For apartments, condos, and single-family units it's the right call, and the description lists multi-family residential units among its applications. For a public or high-traffic commercial restroom, where you want heavier grab-and-pull resistance and often concealed fasteners, spec a commercial washroom line instead.
3) What is the closest single post equivalent to the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder from another brand?
The Deltana 55D2001 and the Deltana BBN2001 are both single post toilet paper holders, the same pivoting-post configuration the Vlora Series set uses. The 55D2001 is from Deltana's 55D Series in solid brass, and the BBN2001 is from the BBN Series. Either one mounts as a single post holder, so the decision comes down to which brand's styling you are coordinating the rest of the bath hardware to.
4) I need a double post holder instead of a single post - what should I order?
The Sure-Loc Vlora set is a single post design, so it will not work if you want the roll captured between two posts. The Deltana 98C2001 is a Classic double post toilet paper holder in solid brass from the 98C Series, which is the configuration to specify when you want the roll held on a removable spindle between two posts.
5) What is the difference between a single post and a double post toilet paper holder?
A single post holder mounts on one bracket and the roll slides on and off the open end, so you can change a roll one-handed and it takes up less wall run. That's what the Vlora is. A double post holder brackets both ends of a spindle, which holds the roll more securely but needs both mounting points landed level. If you want the two-bracket style, the Deltana 98C2001 is a classic double post in solid brass.
6) What else could I buy instead of the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder?
Same single post style, other brands: the Deltana 55D2001 and the Deltana BBN2001 are both single post holders, and the 55D2001 is solid brass. If you want a bar-style holder rather than a post, Emtek makes them in Modern Brass, Transitional Brass, Traditional Brass, and Sandcast Bronze. Orca Hardware's 2752 Cypress and 4852 Blakely use a plastic tube spindle, which is the usual budget pick for rental turns.
7) Will the Vlora paper holder match my other Sure-Loc bath hardware?
It belongs to the Ridgecrest collection, so it coordinates with the other Sure-Loc bath pieces in that collection, towel bars and rings included. If your existing accessories are from a different Sure-Loc collection, the finish may match but the bracket profile won't.
8) Is the Sure-Loc Vlora sold as a complete paper holder or do I order the post and bracket separately?
It ships as a set, so you order one item per bathroom rather than piecing together a bracket and a post. Buy one per opening and pick the finish to match the rest of the unit.
9) What is a bar style paper holder and how does it differ from the Vlora single post?
A bar style holder uses a horizontal bar or arm to carry the roll rather than the Vlora Series single post arrangement. Emtek offers bar style paper holders across several bath hardware lines - Modern Brass, Transitional Brass, Traditional Brass, and Sandcast Bronze - so if your spec calls for a bar profile, those are the ones to look at rather than a post holder.
10) For multi-family units where residents swap rolls constantly, is there an option with a replaceable roller?
The Sure-Loc Vlora Series set is a single post holder built for residential bath use. If you would rather have a tube-style holder where the roll rides on a plastic tube between posts, the Orca Hardware 2752 from the 27-Cypress Series and the Orca Hardware 4852 from the 48-Blakely Series are both supplied with a plastic tube. That tube arrangement is a different loading motion than a single post and is worth considering when you are standardizing across many units.
11) What is a euro style toilet paper holder and is it a substitute for the Vlora set?
Euro style holders such as the Orca Hardware 3655 Swirl from the 36-Swirl Series and the Orca Hardware 5255 Ripple from the 52-Ripple Series use an open hook or arm profile rather than the closed single post arrangement of the Sure-Loc Vlora set. They serve the same function but the roll loads differently and the wall footprint is a different look, so treat them as a style alternative rather than a drop-in match to Vlora.
12) I want a solid brass paper holder rather than a coordinated residential set - what are my options?
The Sure-Loc Vlora Series holder is part of the Ridgecrest collection and is intended for residential bath applications. If solid brass construction is the driver, Deltana lists solid brass on the 55D2001 single post, the 88DTPH from the 88 Series, and the 98C2001 double post. The 55D2001 keeps the single post configuration closest to Vlora.
13) Does the Sure-Loc Vlora paper holder need any wiring or batteries?
No. It's a fully mechanical fixture with no electronic components, so there's nothing to power and nothing to fail electrically. Install is wall-mount hardware only.
14) If I am matching flat black or satin brass across a bathroom, does the Vlora set or an alternate line give me more finish choices?
The Sure-Loc Vlora Series single post paper holder is offered in 15 Satin Nickel, 26 Polished Chrome, FBL Flat Black, and SB Satin Brass, and it is part of the Ridgecrest collection so it pairs with other Sure-Loc bath pieces in the same look. If the room is being built around a bronze palette instead, Emtek's Sandcast Bronze bath hardware paper holder comes from a bronze line, though it is a bar style rather than a single post.
