Mustee T6030RBN TOPAZ FIBERGLASS BATHTUB BONE RIGHT HAND

Right-hand drain. Standing at the front of the tub looking in, the drain and overflow are at the right end, so the rough-in waste line has to come up on that side. Get the hand wrong and the drain won't line up with the plumbing already in the floor, which is the most common reason one of these gets sent back. Mustee builds the Topaz in both hands, so order the left-hand version if your waste is on the opposite end.

The T6030RBN is the tub shell alone. The waste and overflow assembly, the trap, and the tub filler are all ordered separately, so plan on a bath waste kit sized for the tub and finished to match the rest of the trim. Verify the kit is for a right-hand drain tub before it goes on the truck.

The Topaz T6030RBN is bone, the off-white shade used to match bone toilets and lavatories rather than bright white. If the rest of the bathroom group is white, this tub will read noticeably warmer next to it. For a multi-unit property standardizing on one shade, bone is the one to keep specifying across the fleet so replacements a few years out still match.

Fiberglass. The Topaz is a molded fiberglass bathtub, which makes it light enough for one or two people to carry up a stairwell and set in a stud pocket without rigging, unlike a cast iron tub of the same footprint. That weight is why it gets used heavily in apartment turns and second-floor bathrooms where the floor framing and the access both matter.

Soaking tub, no jets and no pump. That means no electrical rough-in, no access panel required for a motor, and nothing to service later, which is why it suits rental and institutional bathrooms. If the spec calls for hydrotherapy jets, this is the wrong unit.
