The Trimco 1010 Series Pull Plates combine the 1001 Series Plate with an 1117 Series Grip. These ADA compliant pull plates are available in 3″x12″, 3-1/2″x15″ and 4″x16″ standard plate sizes and are mated with a cast 5″ CTC traditional pull. Custom plate sizes and finishes are also available.

The Ives 8302 heavy duty pull plate is the nearest peer in duty class, and it mounts with through bolts. The Trimco 1010 is also classed heavy duty and pairs a cast traditional grip on 5 inch center-to-center with a plate in 3 x 12, 3-1/2 x 15 or 4 x 16. Choose the Ives 8302 if the specification calls for through bolt mounting; choose the 1010 if the 5 inch CTC cast grip and Trimco plate sizes are what the opening needs.
2) Is a push plate the same thing as the Trimco 1010 pull plate?
No. The Trimco 1010 is a plate with a cast 5 inch CTC grip attached, for the pull side of the opening. A push plate such as the Delaney 3-1/2 x 15 push plate or the Delaney 4 x 16 push plate is a flat plate with no grip, for the push side. On a pair of swing doors you typically use one of each, matched in size and finish.
3) What plate sizes does the Trimco 1010 pull plate come in?
Three standard plate sizes: 3 x 12 inches, 3-1/2 x 15 inches, and 4 x 16 inches. All three are offered in the full finish range. Custom plate sizes and finishes can also be had from Trimco if none of the standards suit the opening.
4) How far does the Trimco 1010 pull stick out from the door face?
Total projection is 1-7/8 inches off the door, with 1-1/2 inches of clear hand space behind the grip. Worth checking if the door swings past a wall return or sits close to an adjacent leaf, since the pull is the first thing to make contact.
5) Will a 1010 pull plate hold up on a high traffic entrance?
It is built for commercial use and rated heavy duty. The plate is .050 inch stainless steel, brass or bronze, pencil beveled on all four sides, and the grip is cast rather than tubular, so it takes abuse on public entrances, retail, government and multifamily openings.

The 1010 is a pull, not a push. It combines a 1001 Series plate with an 1117 Series grip, so it goes on the pull side of the opening.
