The PBT8000-1-24 is sized for a 48 inch (4 foot) Von Duprin 98/99 exit device. The PBT8000 series as a whole covers Von Duprin 98/99 and Precision Hardware Apex 2000 devices only, so if the opening has a device from another manufacturer, this cover is not the part.
2) I have 36 inch Von Duprin exit devices, not 48 inch. Which PBT8000 do I order?
Order the PBT8000-1-18, which is the push bar cover for a 36 inch Von Duprin 98/99 device. The -1-24 is the 48 inch version. Getting the length wrong means the cover will not sit correctly on the touchpad.
3) Do I need screws or brackets to install a Trimco PBT8000 push bar cover?
