1) Will the Trine 4300 electric strike fit an aluminum storefront jamb?
Yes, and the shallow depth is the reason. The 4300 has a 1-1/16 inch backset, which is what solves the depth problem you run into on glass storefront frames. It also carries 1/4 inch of horizontal adjustment built in, so you can line the keeper up with the latch without shimming the frame. 2) Can the Trine 4300 strike be set fail safe or fail secure in the field?

It fits a 4-7/8 by 1-1/4 inch ANSI A156.5-1992 prep, and the cutout follows A115.1 with slight jamb modification. The cavity centerline is offset 1 inch, so check that against your existing cutout before you commit to a drop-in swap.
4) What kind of lock does the Trine 4300 strike work with, and how big a latchbolt will it take?
It is made for mortise or cylindrical locks and deadlatches, and handles throws up to 7/8 inch. The strike latch design also gets around the auxiliary latch pin problems that trip up a lot of other electric strikes on deadlatch hardware.
