1) Will a Trine MHO faceplate fit a strike other than the 4100 series?
No. The MHO faceplate is specified for the Trine 4100 electric strike series only. Electric strike faceplates are cut to the cavity, mounting hole pattern and keeper opening of one strike family, so a plate from another series or brand will not line up. For other strike families ZenSupply carries the matching plates, for example the Locknetics NCCFP-KIT for NC Series strikes, the MDSFP-KIT for MDS Series, and the CCFP-KIT for CS Series.
2) Can a Locknetics or HES faceplate be used on a Trine 4100 electric strike?
No. The Trine MHO faceplate is made for the Trine 4100 electric strike series, and each maker's plate is cut for its own strike body. The HES Folger Adam FP-700 plates are 700 Series accessories, the Locknetics NCCFP-KIT is for NC Series strikes, the MDSFP-KIT-10B is for MDS Series strikes, and the CCFP-KIT is for CS Series. Match the plate to the strike series already in the frame.
3) What finishes does the Trine 4100 MHO faceplate come in?
Six: 605 Bright Brass, 606 Satin Brass, 612 Satin Bronze, 613 Oil Rubbed Bronze, 629 Bright Stainless Steel and 630 Satin Stainless Steel. If you're standardizing openings across a building, 630 satin stainless is the usual match for commercial levers and exit trim, and 613 is the one to pick against dark bronze frames.
4) Does ordering the MHO faceplate include the electric strike?
No. This is the faceplate on its own, an installation accessory for a 4100 series strike. The strike body, keeper, and wiring are separate. If you're building a complete opening you'll need the 4100 strike itself plus the plate in the finish you want.
5) What is the difference between the Trine MHO faceplate and the BEA MS31 faceplates?
They serve different devices. The Trine MHO is an installation accessory for the 4100 electric strike series, replacing or changing the plate over the strike cavity. The BEA MS31 Series faceplates are for microwave motion sensors used in touchless activation, so they cover a sensor rather than a strike keeper.
6) Is the Trine MHO faceplate rated for commercial use?
Yes, the MHO plate is a commercial-duty installation accessory for the 4100 strike series. It is a faceplate only, so it carries no strike function of its own.
