Yes, it does both. The hooded tip is built to drive EMT fitting set screws without slipping off the screw head, so you ream the cut end and snug the connector with the same tool.
4) Should I get the slotted tip or the square tip version of the Twist-a-Nut conduit deburring tool?
Model 35-083 is the slotted tip version. The square tip variant seats on fitting screws noticeably faster than the slotted one, so if most of your day is driving set screws on EMT connectors, the square tip is the better pick. The slotted tip suits a mixed bag of screw heads.
