1) Can the WAC Coltrane WS-43114 sconce be installed in a corridor or on a path of travel that needs ADA clearance?
Yes. The Coltrane 14-inch sconce is ADA compliant, and its body measures 14 inches high by 5 inches wide, so it stays tight to the wall in a low profile mount. That makes it usable in hospitality corridors and multifamily common areas where protruding-object limits apply.
2) Will the Coltrane sconce work on 277V commercial circuits, or do I need a separate version?
One fixture covers all three. The driver is universal voltage, rated 120-240-277V and concealed in the canopy, so the same Coltrane part number goes on residential 120V and commercial 277V lighting circuits. No voltage-specific ordering.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Coltrane LED sconce?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Those are the two control types this 13W integrated LED driver accepts, and they give smooth continuous dimming. A standard 0-10V or leading-edge magnetic low voltage control is not the right match here.
4) If I order the 3000K Coltrane, can I still change the color temperature later?
Yes. Every Coltrane WS-43114 carries the Tri-CCT switch inside the canopy, reachable during installation, and it toggles 2700K, 3000K and 3500K. The fixture ships preset to 3000K regardless. The color temperature in the part number (-27, -30, -35) just tells you what it was set to at the factory, so an electrician can field-match a whole run of sconces to the rest of the building.
5) Can I use the Coltrane sconce in a bathroom or a covered exterior entry?
It is damp location rated with an IP44 rating, ETL and cETL listed, so it is fine in a bathroom and on a covered porch or breezeway where it is shielded from direct rain. Do not use it in a fully exposed wet location.
6) How much light does the 14-inch Coltrane sconce actually put out?
