1) Can the WAC Rondelle WS-42514 vanity light be installed over a shower or tub?
The Rondelle WS-42514 is damp location rated and carries an IP44 rating, so it is suitable for a bathroom wall and for covered outdoor spots like a porch ceiling overhang. Damp rated means moisture in the air, not direct water contact, so keep it out of the direct shower spray zone. It is ETL and cETL listed.
2) What dimmer works with the WS-42514 Rondelle LED wall light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The integrated LED driver on the Rondelle dims smooth and continuous on ELV; a standard incandescent/forward-phase dimmer is the wrong control type and will cause flicker or drop-out. The driver sits in the J-box, so plan the box depth accordingly.
3) Is the WS-42514 bright enough to be the only light over a bathroom vanity?
At 518 lumens from 16W across two integrated LED heads with a flood distribution, the Rondelle is accent and face-level fill light, not a room's primary source. Over a single-sink vanity it works well paired with a ceiling fixture or recessed cans. For a windowless powder room where this is the only fixture, expect a dim, warm wash.
4) Is the WS-42514 available on 277V for a commercial job?
Standard build is 120V. A 277V version of the Rondelle is noted as a special order, so a commercial or institutional project running 277V branch circuits cannot use the stock 120V unit as-is. Specify the 277V variant up front rather than assuming the fixture is dual-voltage.
5) Does the Rondelle WS-42514 meet ADA or California Title 24 requirements?
It is not ADA compliant and not Title 24 compliant, so it should not be specified for an ADA-governed corridor projection or a California residential application where Title 24 compliance is required. It does meet Title 20. It is not Energy Star rated.
6) Do I need to order bulbs for the Rondelle WS-42514?
No separate lamps. The light source is integrated LED, included, rated 60,000 average hours, so there is nothing to relamp.
