It installs straight over a standard or pancake junction box. The Argo uses WAC's ACLED technology, so no separate driver or transformer is needed, and it runs on 120V line voltage, hardwired. That is what makes it workable on a retrofit where there is no room behind the wall for a driver box.
2) Can the 16 inch Argo outdoor wall light be used in an exposed location with direct rain?
Yes. The Argo is wet location rated and carries an IP65 rating along with ETL and cETL listings, so it can go on an open wall, an entry with no overhang, or a breezeway. It is rated for indoor or outdoor use.
3) Can the Argo WS-W39316 be mounted sideways or pointed down, or does it only go one way up?
