1) Will the WAC Taurus FM-49118 flush mount cover my existing ceiling junction box?
The Taurus canopy is 11 inches across, and the fixture is built to mount over a standard or pancake junction box with the 120V LED driver concealed inside the canopy. So an existing round 4 inch octagon or pancake box is covered with plenty of margin. Overall the fixture is 17.88 inches in diameter and projects 5.13 inches from the surface.
2) How do I set the color temperature on the Taurus 3-CCT flush mount, and can I change it after it's installed?
There is a CCT switch inside the canopy that you set during installation, toggling between 2700K, 3000K and 3500K. It ships pre-set to 3000K. Because the switch sits under the canopy, changing it later means dropping the fixture from the ceiling, so pick the temperature while you have it open. For a corridor or unit turnover where you are matching existing fixtures, that single switch lets one SKU cover all three warm points.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Taurus LED flush mount?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. The description also cites 0-10V dimming. Standard incandescent/magnetic low-voltage dimmers are not the right control for this driver, and that is the usual cause of flicker or a limited dimming range on an integrated LED fixture like this one.
4) Can the Taurus flush mount go in a bathroom or a covered porch?
