1) Can the WAC Lithium FM-20018 flush mount be installed on a wall instead of a ceiling?
Yes. The Lithium round flush mount mounts to either a ceiling or a wall, in any orientation, so the same fixture covers a stairwell wall sconce position and a corridor ceiling run. It is hardwired, with a 6 inch wire lead at the canopy, so you need a junction box at the location.
2) Can I match the color temperature of the existing fixtures in my building with this WAC Lithium flush mount?
Most likely, yes. The fixture has a 5-CCT selectable switch on it: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. You set it at install, so one stocked part number can match warm residential units at 2700K or 3000K and cooler back-of-house and garage areas at 4000K or 5000K. CRI is 90, so colors read accurately next to other 90 CRI fixtures.
3) What dimmer works with the FM-20018, and how low will it actually dim?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. With an ELV dimmer it dims to 10 percent, with a TRIAC dimmer to 5 percent. A standard incandescent-only leading-edge dimmer that is not TRIAC rated for LED loads is not a match, and that is the usual cause of flicker or drop-out complaints on a retrofit.
4) Is this WAC flush mount OK for a bathroom, covered porch, or laundry room?
It is rated for damp locations and ETL and cETL listed, which covers a bathroom ceiling, a laundry, or a covered exterior porch or breezeway. It is not a wet location fixture, so keep it out of direct spray or an uncovered exterior position.
5) Does this fixture meet California Title 24 and ADA requirements for a commercial job?
Yes on both. The Lithium flush mount is CEC listed and Title 24 compliant, and it is ADA compliant, which is what lets it be used as a wall mount in a corridor or egress path where projection limits apply. It also carries Energy Star.

Yes, an EM backup battery option is offered in the 15 inch and 18 inch Lithium sizes, and it keeps the same form factor as the standard fixture.
