1) Can the WAC Caliber LED pendant be hung outside under a covered porch or in an open, exposed location?
The Caliber pendant carries a Wet location rating with an IP65 seal and a factory sealed light engine, so it can go in exposed outdoor locations, not just covered soffits. It is ETL and cETL listed. It is down light only, with an integral swivel that keeps the cylinder plumb on a sloped ceiling.
2) How low can the Caliber pendant hang, and what down rods come in the box?
Mounting height runs from 14 inches minimum to 78 inches with the supplied rods. The box includes three 12 inch down rods and one 6 inch rod, plus 10 feet (120 inches) of wire so the pendant can be extended to a total of 120 inches. Beyond the included set, extra down rods are ordered separately.
3) Do I need a driver or transformer to install this WAC pendant?
No. The Caliber runs on 120V AC LED technology with no separate driver or transformer, and it is hardwired to a standard pancake junction box using the 6 inch round canopy. 277V, 240V, or custom color temperature versions are handled as special order.
4) Will the Caliber pendant dim on the dimmer I already have?
It dims only on an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer, which gives smooth continuous dimming. A standard incandescent/TRIAC forward-phase dimmer is not the right control for this fixture, so if the existing wall box has one, plan on swapping it for an ELV-rated dimmer.
5) Does this WAC pendant meet California Title 24 and Dark Sky requirements?
Yes on both. The Caliber is listed Title 24 compliant and Title 20 compliant, and it is Dark Sky rated since it is a full down light with no uplight component. It is not Energy Star rated and is not ADA compliant, though ADA is not typically a factor on a ceiling-hung pendant.
6) How much light does the 2.69 inch Caliber pendant actually put out, and what color is it?

7) Can the LED be replaced in this pendant when it fails?
No. The Caliber uses an integrated LED, sealed at the factory, with no lamp socket or bulb base, so there is nothing to relamp. That sealed engine is what makes the wet rating possible. For MRO planning, treat the fixture as the replacement unit.
