1) Can I change the color temperature on the WAC Parallax WS-73120 vanity light after it's installed?
The color temperature switch on the Parallax WS-73120 sits inside the canopy, so it is only reachable while the fixture is off the wall during installation. It toggles between 2700K warm, 3000K warm white, and 3500K white, and ships factory pre-set to 3000K. Set it before you close up the canopy, because getting back to it means pulling the fixture off the junction box.
2) Will the WS-73120 Parallax work on 277V commercial power?
Yes. The Parallax 20 inch LED vanity light runs on a universal voltage driver rated 120-240-277V, so the same part number works on residential 120V and on 277V commercial lighting circuits. The driver measures 2.76 x 1.26 x 1.18 inches and installs inside the junction box, so you need box volume free for it.
3) Can the WAC Parallax 20 inch LED light be installed in a shower or over a tub?
It is damp location rated, with an IP44 rating, and listed for indoor or covered outdoor use. That covers a bathroom vanity wall or a covered exterior spot, but not a direct spray zone inside a shower enclosure, which needs a wet location rated fixture.
4) What dimmer do I need for the WAC Parallax WS-73120?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer for smooth continuous dimming. Standard incandescent/magnetic low voltage or 0-10V controls are not what this driver is built for, so spec the ELV or TRIAC control at the same time you spec the fixture.
5) Is the WAC Parallax vanity light ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
No. The Parallax is not ADA compliant, so it should not be specified where the fixture sits in a protruding-objects zone on an accessible route. It is Title 24 compliant, which matters for California projects, and carries ETL and cETL listings for US and Canadian installs.
6) Can the Parallax WS-73120 be mounted vertically beside a mirror instead of horizontally above it?
