1) Can the WAC Minibar WS-75328 vanity light be mounted vertically beside a mirror, or only horizontally above it?
Either way. The 28 inch Minibar bar light can be mounted on the wall in any orientation, so you can run it horizontally over the mirror or vertically down each side. Mounting method is listed as wall, any orientation. Plan your junction box location accordingly, since the 7 inch backplate has to cover it.
2) What junction box does the WS-75328 Minibar need, and does it require a separate LED driver?
No driver or transformer. It is 120V AC LED technology that wires straight to line voltage and fits a pancake junction box. The canopy backplate is 7 inches long, so it covers a standard round box easily. 277V and 240V versions exist by special order.
3) How do I set the color temperature on the WAC Minibar Tri-CCT vanity light?
There is a switch inside the canopy that you reach during installation. It toggles between 2700K warm, 3000K warm white, and 3500K white. The fixture ships factory preset to 3000K, so if that is what the job calls for you just hang it. Once the canopy is on the wall the switch is no longer accessible, so set it before you close up.
4) Will the WS-75328 Minibar work in a bathroom near a shower?
It is damp location rated and carries an IP44 rating along with ETL and cETL listings, so it is fine for a typical bath vanity and for covered exterior spots like a porch ceiling overhang. Damp rated is not wet rated, so keep it out of direct spray inside a shower enclosure or anywhere exposed to driving rain.
5) What dimmer works with the WAC Minibar LED vanity light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer for smooth continuous dimming. A standard incandescent leading edge control that is not TRIAC rated for LED loads, or a 0-10V control, is the wrong choice here. The fixture draws 24W, so check the dimmer's minimum load if you are putting a single fixture on its own control.
6) Is the WAC Minibar ADA compliant for a commercial or accessible restroom?
No. The Minibar is not ADA compliant, and at 5.5 inches high with a 28 inch run it projects further than ADA protrusion limits allow for a corridor or accessible restroom wall. For a project with an ADA requirement on wall-mounted fixtures, specify an ADA-listed sconce instead.
