1) Will the WAC Bliss WS-79628 vanity light mount to an existing 4 inch junction box?
Yes. The Bliss WS-79628 ships with a conversion plate for installation in a standard 4 inch junction box, so it covers larger boxes without added trim. It is a hardwired fixture at 120V, so no driver or transformer needs to be sourced separately.
2) Can the Bliss 28 inch LED vanity light be mounted vertically beside a mirror?
It can. The WS-79628 mounts either horizontally above the mirror or vertically on either side of it, and also works as a wall sconce. Plan the space for a 28 inch run with a 3.5 inch projection off the wall either way.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Bliss WS-79628, and will a standard incandescent dimmer work?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Bliss integrated LED driver dims smoothly on ELV control; a standard incandescent or TRIAC wall dimmer is not the specified control and can cause flicker or drop-out. Spec the ELV dimmer at the same time as the fixture, since the 38W load is well under most ELV dimmer minimums only when ganged with other loads.
4) Is the WS-79628 Bliss light rated for a shower or over a tub?
It carries a damp location rating and IP44, so it is suitable for a bathroom and for covered outdoor use. Damp is not wet, so keep it out of direct spray, which rules out inside a shower enclosure or anywhere it takes direct water.
5) What color temperatures does the Bliss WS-79628 come in, and can I match existing fixtures?
Three color temperatures are offered in polished nickel: 2700K (WS-79628-27-PN), 3000K (WS-79628-PN) and 3500K (WS-79628-35-PN). The LED is integrated, so the temperature is fixed at the time of order, not changeable later by swapping a lamp.
