Yes. The Duet LED sconce is hardwired and mounts to a pancake junction box because the AC LED engine runs directly on 120V with no separate driver or transformer to house. The backplate measures 4.75 inches, so it covers a standard round pancake box cleanly.
2) Can I change the color temperature on the Duet sconce after it is installed?
The CCT switch sits inside the canopy and is reachable during installation, letting you toggle between 2700K warm, 3000K warm white, and 3500K white. Each fixture ships factory pre-set to the temperature ordered, so if you order the 3000K version it arrives at 3000K and you only touch the switch if you want to change it. Field changes mean pulling the fixture off the wall to get at the canopy, so set it during install if you can.
