1) Can the WAC Endurance WP-LED430 spot light be mounted on a ceiling, or only on a wall?
Either. The Endurance WP-LED430 mounts on ceiling or wall in any orientation, so you can aim it down from a soffit, out from a wall, or up a facade. It ships with two canopy accessories, one for a surface mounted junction box and one for a recessed junction box, so the box you already have in the wall or soffit is usually the box you use. The backplate is 4.5 inches. It is hardwired, not corded.
2) Does the WP-LED430 LED spot light need a separate driver or transformer?
No driver needed. The WP-LED430 is 120V direct wire using WAC's ACLED driverless technology, so it lands straight on a 120 VAC 50/60Hz branch circuit. That removes the remote driver and the driver failure point from the install, which is the usual reason these get specified over a low voltage flood on a building exterior.
3) Is the Endurance WP-LED430 rated for a wet location outdoors?
Wet location rated, ETL and cETL listed, with an IP66 factory sealed light engine in a die-cast aluminum housing. It can go on an open wall, a parking canopy, or a loading dock with direct rain and washdown exposure, and it is listed for indoor use too.
4) Will the WAC WP-LED430 work on my existing dimmer, and how low does it go?
It dims on ELV and TRIAC dimmers, down to 10 percent of full output. Since it is a 120V direct wire fixture with no separate driver, the dimmer switches line voltage to the fixture itself. A standard incandescent-only rotary or slide dimmer is not the right control here, and neither is a 0-10V control.
5) Should I order the 3000K or the 5000K version of the WP-LED430?
Both color temperatures are offered on every finish. 3000K is the warmer, more residential-looking light people pick for multi-family entries, courtyards, and anywhere the fixture faces occupied units. 5000K reads as a crisp white and is what most people put on parking areas, service yards, and loading docks where the light is doing security work and camera performance matters. Color rendering is the same either way, and the MPN carries the choice: WP-LED430-30 for 3000K, WP-LED430-50 for 5000K.
6) Does the WAC Endurance WP-LED430 meet California Title 24 and Energy Star for a spec job?
It carries Energy Star, is CEC listed, and is Title 24 compliant, which is what a California project or a utility rebate submittal usually asks for on an exterior luminaire. 8) How much light does a 30W WAC Endurance spot put out compared to the HID wall pack I am replacing?

9) Can I add a motion sensor or photocell to the WAC WP-LED430?
It accepts an optional photo/motion sensor, ordered separately from the fixture itself. Budget that as a line item if the scope calls for dusk-to-dawn or occupancy switching, because nothing about the base fixture provides it. The sensor is the usual add for parking and service entrances where you want the head off during daylight.
10) Can I aim the WAC Endurance spot light after it is installed?
The heads rotate, so you can aim after the fixture is wired and the canopy is fastened. That matters on a facade or sign wash where the final aim gets set at night, and it is the practical difference between this and a fixed wall pack that throws whatever pattern the housing dictates.
