1) Can the WAC Endurance Hawk WP-LED219 flood light be mounted upside down or on a ceiling?
Yes. The Endurance Hawk mounts in any orientation, ceiling or wall, including inverted, so you can aim it for either direct or indirect illumination. A built-in level helps you set the aim once it is up, and the driver is concealed inside the housing so there is no remote gear to find a spot for.
2) Will the WP-LED219 flood light work on a 277V circuit in a commercial building?
It accepts 120V, 240V and 277V input, so the same fixture works on single-phase residential circuits and on 277V commercial lighting branch circuits. It is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in, so it needs to be fed from a junction box by a qualified electrician.
3) Can I put the Endurance Hawk LED flood light on an existing outdoor surface-mount junction box?
Yes, and that is the common retrofit case. The Endurance Hawk ships with a box sleeve for use over existing surface-mount junction boxes, so you can land it on the box already on the wall rather than cutting in new rough-in. The fixture body measures 8.38 inches long by 8.25 inches wide by 4.38 inches high, which is what determines whether it covers the box footprint cleanly.
4) Is this WAC flood light rated for direct rain and washdown areas?
The Endurance Hawk is wet location rated and carries IP66 along with ETL and cETL listings, built around a factory-sealed LED light engine in a die-cast aluminum housing. IP66 means dust tight and protected against powerful water jets, so exposed walls, parking areas and loading docks are within its rating.
5) Does the WP-LED219 qualify for utility rebates and California Title 24?

9) How long before I have to get a lift out to re-lamp these floods?
Rated life is 100,000 hours on a factory-sealed, thermally engineered LED engine with the driver sealed inside, so there is no lamp or ballast service in normal use. That is the argument for using it on high or hard-to-reach mounting points where a relamp means equipment rental.
10) Is the WP-LED219 dimmable, and what kind of dimmer do I need?
