1) Which WAC Tower bollards does the M6620-CON-KIT concrete pour kit fit?
The M6620-CON-KIT is the concrete pour kit for the WAC Landscape Tower bollards 6621, 6622 and 6623. It is not a universal base, so it should only be used under those three Tower models.
2) Does the Tower bollard concrete pour kit include the light itself?
No. The pour kit is the mounting base only, supplied with installation hardware and instructions. The Tower LED bollard is sold separately, and the bollard itself ships with a M6000-STAKE mounting accessory for soft ground, so the pour kit is what you buy when you are setting into concrete instead.
3) How much space do I need to form for the WAC Tower bollard pour kit?
The pour kit measures 6 inches in height and 5 by 5 inches in the other two dimensions, so your form or core opening in the slab has to accept a 5 inch square footprint at 6 inches deep.
4) Does this Tower bollard mount meet ADA and California Title 24 for a commercial walkway project?
Both are listed as compliant: ADA Compliant yes, Title 24 Compliant yes. Note it is not Energy Star rated, so if your specification calls out Energy Star specifically, this will not satisfy that line item.
5) Should I use the concrete pour kit or the stake mount for a WAC Tower bollard?
Use the stake (included with the bollard) in soil or planting beds. Use the concrete pour kit when the bollard lands on a concrete surface or you are pouring a new pad, such as a walkway edge, plaza, or parking area, where you want maximum stability and no chance of the fixture shifting.
6) Will the pour kit hold up buried in concrete outdoors and exposed to sprinklers?
It is an outdoor, wet-location rated component in aluminum construction, carrying UL, cUL and IP65 certification. The Tower bollard assembly it supports is factory sealed water tight and IP66 rated against high pressure water jets, so irrigation spray and washdown are within what the system is built for.
7) Does the pour kit change depending on whether my Tower bollard is 12V, 120V or 277V?
The Tower bollard comes in 12V, 120V and 277V versions, and M6620-CON-KIT is the concrete pour kit for the 6621, 6622 and 6623 Tower bollards across those options. Your voltage choice is made on the bollard, not on the base. Dimming follows the bollard too: magnetic low voltage dimmer on 12V, Triac or ELV on 120V, ELV on 277V, down to 10 percent.
8) Can the Tower bollard pour kit be mounted upside down or inverted for a different detail?
No. It is not a reversible mounting accessory, so it installs one way only, set vertically into the concrete with the bollard landing on top.
9) What finish does the WAC Tower concrete pour kit come in, and does it need to match my bollard?
The pour kit is supplied in black. Since it is set into the concrete under the fixture, the visible color on the job is the bollard's own finish, which WAC offers in bronze or black.
