1) Can the WAC Slice FM-4109 flush mount be installed on a wall as a sconce, not just a ceiling?
Yes. The Slice FM-4109 mounts either way, ceiling or wall, and WAC states it is ADA compliant when mounted on a wall. At 8.88 inches across and 2.5 inches deep, the projection off the wall stays inside typical corridor clearance expectations. Same fixture either orientation, no separate wall version to order.
2) Does the FM-4109 need a separate LED driver or transformer?
No. It runs on 120V AC LED technology with the driver integrated, so there is nothing extra to mount in the ceiling. It is hardwired and fits a standard pancake junction box, which is what makes it workable in shallow plenum or concrete-ceiling conditions. 277V and 240V versions exist only as special order.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Slice LED flush mount?
An electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Slice FM-4109 is ELV dimmable and gives smooth continuous dimming on that control type. If your existing wall boxes are loaded with standard incandescent/leading-edge dimmers, plan on swapping them, since ELV is a trailing-edge control.
4) Can I use the FM-4109 in a bathroom or a covered exterior entry?
