Accent Stem LED 12V Path and Area Double Light 2700K

Simple, clean and efficient. The Tiki Path Light provides a wide sweep of light in a minimalist design that will blend into any landscape. Both the dome-shaped shade and stem are made out of a durable die-cast aluminum. This path light is powered by bright long lasting integrated LED's and can conveniently tap into any existing 12V landscape lighting system. Factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and outdoor elements. Casted using a special k-alloy aluminum that is engineered to withstand the most challenging environments over time. Solid brass coated in bronze (-BBR finish) may be available for enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for use in coastal or marine environments. Includes a 9in mounting spike (Guardian Spike sku # 9000-SP9-BZ sold separately for more durable mounting) and a 3ft lead wire with two gel filled direct burial wire nuts. A magnetic or electronic power supply is required (sold separately) for 12V fixtures. A variety of accessories are sold separately for additional mounting options.

WAC Lighting WAC-6211-27 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Can the WAC 6211 Tiki path light run off my existing 12V landscape lighting system?
Yes. The 6211 taps into any existing 12V landscape run, with an input range of 9-15V AC at 50/60Hz. It does need a magnetic or electronic power supply (transformer), which is sold separately. A 3ft lead wire with two gel-filled direct burial wire nuts comes with the fixture for the splice.
2) Which finish of the WAC 6211 path light should I use near the ocean?
For coastal or marine sites, go with the Bronze on Brass version, 6211-27BBR. Solid brass coated in bronze is the finish WAC recommends where salt air and corrosive elements are a factor. The Bronze on Aluminum version, 6211-27BZ, is cast k-alloy aluminum and is the choice for ordinary inland landscapes.
3) How is the WAC 6211 Tiki path light mounted, and do I need to buy anything extra?
A 9 inch mounting spike ships with the fixture, which is enough for normal soil installs. For a more durable mount, WAC offers the Guardian Spike, part 9000-SP9-BZ, sold separately. Other mounting and glare control accessories are also separate items. The only thing you must add to make it work is the 12V power supply.
4) Is the WAC 6211 path light rated for sprinklers and heavy rain?
It is factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating, which covers high-pressure water jets, so irrigation spray and driving rain are not a problem. It is UL and cUL 1838 listed and rated for wet locations.
5) Can I put the WAC 6211 landscape light on a dimmer?
Only a Magnetic Low Voltage (MLV) dimmer, which gives smooth continuous dimming. WAC also notes the fixture is not suitable for use with external dimmers, so the dimming has to be handled at the MLV supply side rather than with an inline dimmer at the fixture.
6) What color temperature does the 6211-27 come in, and can I match it to warmer fixtures already on site?
The 6211-27 is the 2700K version, a warm white that matches typical warm landscape and architectural lighting. Both finishes, Bronze on Brass and Bronze on Aluminum, are offered at 2700K. WAC builds the 6211 family in 3000K as well if your existing run is the cooler of the two.
7) Can I aim the WAC Tiki path light, or is the beam fixed?
The beam angle is adjustable and lockable, so you can set the spread where you want it and lock it so mowing crews or weather do not knock it off aim. The dome shade throws a wide sweep downward, which is what you want washing a walkway rather than spotlighting.
8) Is the shade on the WAC 6211 plastic or metal?
Metal. Both the dome shade and the stem are die-cast, using a k-alloy aluminum on the BZ version engineered for harsh environments, or solid brass on the BBR version. There is no plastic shade to chalk or crack.
