Accent Stem LED 12V Path and Area Single Light 3000K

Simple, clean and efficient. The Tiki Path Light provides a wide sweep of light in a minimalist design that will blend into any landscape. Both the dome-shaped shade and stem are made out of a durable die-cast aluminum. This path light is powered by bright long lasting integrated LED's and can conveniently tap into any existing 12V landscape lighting system. Factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and outdoor elements. Casted using a special k-alloy aluminum that is engineered to withstand the most challenging environments over time. Solid brass coated in bronze (-BBR finish) may be available for enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for use in coastal or marine environments. Includes a 9in mounting spike (Guardian Spike sku # 9000-SP9-BZ sold separately for more durable mounting) and a 3ft lead wire with two gel filled direct burial wire nuts. A magnetic or electronic power supply is required (sold separately) for 12V fixtures. A variety of accessories are sold separately for additional mounting options.

1) Can the WAC 6111 Tiki path light run off my existing 12V landscape lighting system?
Yes. The 6111 Accent Stem path light taps into an existing 12V landscape run and accepts an input of 9-15V AC, 50/60Hz, so normal voltage drop along a long run is tolerated. It is not a line-voltage fixture, so a magnetic or electronic low-voltage power supply (transformer) is required and is sold separately.
2) Is the 6111 Tiki light rated to sit in sprinkler spray and standing weather?
It is factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating, which covers high-pressure water jets as well as rain and irrigation spray. It is UL and cUL 1838 listed and rated for wet locations.
3) What color temperature does the WAC 6111-30 path light come in?
Both orderable versions of the 6111-30 are 3000K, in either Bronze on Brass or Bronze on Aluminum. 3000K is a warm white that reads naturally against planting beds and stone, and holding all path heads to one color temperature is what keeps a walkway from looking patchy.
4) How is the LED serviced if it burns out in the 6111 path light?
The LED is integrated and the housing is factory sealed and water tight, so there is no lamp to replace. Rated life is 60,000 hours, which is the service expectation you plan around; failure is handled as a fixture replacement, not a bulb swap. Specify the brass version in harsh environments since the body itself is the long-term wear item.
5) Do I need to order a mounting stake separately for the 6111 Tiki path light?
For firmer ground or high-traffic areas, WAC offers the Guardian Spike, sku 9000-SP9-BZ, sold separately. Other accessories for alternate mounting and glare control are also sold separately, so if the fixture is going into a wall cap, deck board, or hardscape instead of soil, plan on an accessory mount.
6) Is this a spread path light or an accent spot?
The 6111 is a path and area fixture. Its dome-shaped shade pushes a wide sweep of light downward and outward, which is what you want for walkways, steps, and bed edges rather than uplighting a tree or a facade. For a tight beam on architecture or specimen plants, use an accent or flood fixture instead.
7) What wire connections come with the 6111 so I can tie into my 12V trunk line?
Each fixture ships with a factory lead wire and two gel-filled direct burial wire nuts, so the splice to your 12V trunk can be made in grade without an additional junction box. Keep the splice accessible for future troubleshooting.
