Accent Stem LED 12V Path and Area Double Light 3000K

Simple, clean and efficient. The Tiki Path Light provides a wide sweep of light in a minimalist design that will blend into any landscape. Both the dome-shaped shade and stem are made out of a durable die-cast aluminum. This path light is powered by bright long lasting integrated LED's and can conveniently tap into any existing 12V landscape lighting system. Factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and outdoor elements. Casted using a special k-alloy aluminum that is engineered to withstand the most challenging environments over time. Solid brass coated in bronze (-BBR finish) may be available for enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for use in coastal or marine environments. Includes a 9in mounting spike (Guardian Spike sku # 9000-SP9-BZ sold separately for more durable mounting) and a 3ft lead wire with two gel filled direct burial wire nuts. 1) Can the WAC 6211-30 path light run off my existing 12V landscape lighting system?
Yes. The 6211-30 Tiki path light taps into any existing 12V landscape run, with an input range of 9 to 15V AC, 50/60Hz. You still need a magnetic or electronic power supply (transformer), which is sold separately. It ships with a 3ft lead wire and two gel-filled direct burial wire nuts so you can splice into the main run at the fixture.
2) Which finish should I pick for a coastal or oceanfront property, Bronze on Aluminum or Bronze on Brass?
Go with Bronze on Brass (6211-30BBR) near salt air. WAC states the solid brass coated in bronze finish gives enhanced protection against corrosive elements and is recommended for coastal or marine environments. The Bronze on Aluminum version (6211-30BZ) uses a special k-alloy die-cast aluminum built to hold up in demanding conditions, and it is the normal choice for inland landscapes.
3) What mounting hardware comes with the 6211 path light, and do I need anything else?
A 9 inch mounting spike is in the box, which is enough for typical soil beds. For firmer or high-traffic ground WAC offers the Guardian Spike, model 9000-SP9-BZ, sold separately, and other mounting and glare-control accessories are also separate items. Budget for the transformer too, since none is included.
4) Is the WAC 6211 path light dimmable?
Only on a magnetic low voltage (MLV) dimmer. The 6211 gives smooth, continuous dimming when the 12V supply is controlled by an MLV dimmer. Do not put it on a standard wall dimmer downstream of the fixture, and the fixture itself holds constant lumen output against voltage drop along a long run.
5) How bright is the 6211-30 and what color is the light?
The 6211-30 is the 3000K version, a neutral warm white, and it draws 5.8W (9.4VA) delivering up to 150 lumens per LED head with a CRI of 90 for accurate color on plantings and stonework. LED life is rated at 60,000 hours. Both of the two finishes are built at 3000K.
6) Will the WAC 6211 hold up to sprinklers and pressure washing?
It is factory sealed and water tight with an IP66 rating, which covers high-pressure water jets as well as rain and irrigation spray. It is UL and cUL 1838 listed and rated for wet locations.
7) Can the beam be aimed after installation?
Yes. The Tiki-style head has an adjustable and lockable beam angle, so you can set the spread once the fixture is staked and lock it in place. The dome shade throws a wide sweep of light down onto the path rather than up toward the eye.
8) Do I need to worry about the LED module failing and replacing the whole fixture?
The 6211 uses an integrated, factory-sealed LED rated for 60,000 hours, so there is no lamp to change. That sealing is what gets it the IP66 rating, which is the tradeoff: long maintenance-free life instead of a serviceable socket. For fleet or campus work, spec the same 6211-30 across openings so all heads match at 3000K.
