WAC Lighting H Track Square Monopoint Canopy

The HMP is a monopoint canopy for WAC's H Track system. It mounts a single H track head straight to a recessed junction box on the ceiling or wall, so you get one aimable head with no track run, no feed, and no end caps. It is hardwired at 120V and is not sold as a complete system, so the H track fixture head itself is a separate line item. Use track sections instead when you need multiple heads on one circuit.

The canopy is square at 5.39 by 5.39 inches and sits 0.44 inches off the surface, so it covers a standard 4 inch octagonal or 4 inch square box with about half an inch of overlap on each side. That low 0.44 inch profile also means the canopy itself adds almost nothing to the drop, the projection comes entirely from the head you hang on it.

No. The HMP canopy is rated for interior use in dry locations only. That rules out a shower or tub zone, any covered exterior soffit or porch, and unheated damp spaces like a garage or a walk-in cooler. For those openings you need a fixture and canopy carrying a damp or wet location rating.

No. The HMP is a 120V line voltage component built for WAC's H Track, so it takes H track heads running at line voltage. It is not the part for a 12V or 24V low voltage system, and it is not cross-compatible with J or L track profiles. If your existing track is not H, the head will not seat.

It carries UL and cUL safety listings, which covers both US and Canadian jobs. It is also CEC listed for California. Two things to know before you spec it on a public facility: it is not Energy Star and it is not flagged Title 24 compliant, and it does not carry an ADA compliance designation, so on wall mount applications check your protrusion limits.

Four finishes, each its own part number: Black is HMP-BK, Brushed Nickel is HMP-BN, Dark Bronze is HMP-DB, and White is HMP-WT. Order the canopy in the same finish as the H track head you are pairing it with, since the canopy is the visible plate against the ceiling. On a building where some rooms run track and some run single points, matching finish across both keeps the openings looking like one system.

The HMP is a hardwired canopy that mounts to a junction box, so it goes where the box is, ceiling or wall. What it will not do is flip orientation: it is not a reversible mounting design, so the head hangs off it one way. Plan the box location and the aiming direction together rather than expecting to invert it in the field.

The body is aluminum, so it is light on the box and will not rust in a conditioned interior. It is a dry location interior part, which is the right call for retail floors, lobbies, offices, and guest corridors, but not for a pool deck or an exterior entry canopy.
