WAC Lighting 18" Suspension Kit for H-L-J-J2 Track Track Component

120V Track systems are modular and can be designed for multiple applications in nearly any interior environment. Suspension kits are used to suspend track systems beneath a surface. Kit includes a power feedable canopy cover, hallow suspension rod to slide power cables through, and a clip to attach the rod to the track. Suspension rods are standard 18, 24, 36, and 48 inch sizes. Rods may be field cut to custom lengths, use an SK05 field shortening suspension rod adapter (sold separately) when field cutting rods to custom lengths. For slope ceilings, SK14 Sloped ceiling adapter (also sold separately) can be used with a suspension kit.

5) Can I hang track from a sloped or cathedral ceiling with this kit?
Yes, but not with the kit alone. For a slope you add the SK14 sloped ceiling adapter, sold separately, which lets the rod hang plumb off an angled surface.
6) Can the WAC JMP canopy feed power to the track, or do I still need a separate power feed?
The canopy is power feedable and the rod is hollow so the supply conductors pass down through it to the track. It is a hardwired 120V component, so it lands on a branch circuit at the ceiling box rather than plugging in.

No. It carries UL and cUL Listing for dry locations only and is an interior component. For a covered exterior soffit, a canopy or garage, specify a damp or wet location rated system instead.
