Yes. The FM-616CS retrofits over an existing 5 inch or 6 inch recessed can using the spring-clip kit and E26 medium base socket that ship with it, so you screw into the existing lamp socket and clip the fixture to the can. No need to pull the housing out of the ceiling.
3) Is this WAC flush mount rated for a shower, covered porch, or other wet area?
It is wet location rated and IP65, which covers dry, damp, and wet locations including closets. That makes it usable in bathrooms, covered exteriors, and laundry areas, not just conditioned interior ceilings.
