1) Will the WAC J2-LRIGHT connector work with single-circuit J track?
No. The J2-LRIGHT is built for WAC's J 2-Circuit Track system and carries the two separate circuits through the corner. Single-circuit J track uses a different conductor arrangement, so pair this connector only with 2-circuit J track sections and fittings. It runs on 120V.
2) Can I use this WAC J track L connector outdoors or in a damp location like a covered patio or bathroom?
Interior only. The connector is rated for dry locations, so it should not go in damp or wet areas, including covered exterior soffits, open porches, or shower zones. For a bath, keep the track outside the damp zone entirely.
3) Can I flip this WAC track L connector over to use it as a left-hand corner instead?
No. The fitting is not reversible, so flipping it does not convert a right-hand corner into a left-hand one. Order the opposite-hand L connector for corners that turn the other way.
4) How much ceiling space does the WAC J2-LRIGHT corner fitting take up?
The body measures 4.25 x 4.25 x 1 inches, so it occupies a 4-1/4 inch square at the corner and drops 1 inch below the mounting surface. Allow for that footprint when you dimension a run to a wall or a soffit return, since the track sections start outboard of it.
5) Is the WAC J2-LRIGHT UL listed for commercial work?
Yes, it carries both UL and cUL safety listings, which covers specs calling for a listed track component in the US and Canada. Note it is not Energy Star rated and not Title 24 compliant, so if a California project needs Title 24 documentation on the lighting package, that has to come from the fixtures and controls rather than this connector.
